20 Weeks

I feel huge this week. Other than that, not much has changed. I'm still tired and doing as little as possible these days.
Nathan and I managed to complete three more 1,000 piece puzzles in a four day period.

We're awesome. Unfortunately, I have to stop doing puzzles for a while. Apparently, sitting straight up for hours on end isn't the best for my body. After spending the majority of Friday evening hunched over a puzzle, my stomach turned into a rock as the muscles began tightening. I thought going to bed would relieve the problem, but it didn't help too much. I woke up Saturday morning with the tightness still in my abdomen and then spent all of yesterday laying down.

Now that my nausea is mostly gone, I am hoping I can read without making myself sick. Book suggestions, anyone? Sadly, the library branch here is unimaginably small, but maybe they'll have some good books I haven't read.

Also, look at how huge Eliza is! She's adorable.

  1. Have you read, The Help? Great book. I'm trying to think if i've read anything else worth passing along lately...

  2. Do you have a smart phone, mp3 player, or a reader (like a kindle)? If so, many public libraries are part of the overdrive system and you can rent audio and ebooks. Pretty much the only way I get my house clean lately is if I have an audio book to listen to. They've got a fairly decent selection!

  3. I only read books of a mindless nature, so no suggestions from me. But I do have to say, again, you are looking so stunning lately. I look at your pictures and they are STRIKING. No I am not just being nice. I am a with held kind of person, I don't say things I don't mean. I don't even ask people how they are doing after saying hello on the phone unless I really want them to answer it.

    So you look beautiful.

  4. Tightening in your abdomen may be a contraction. Be careful!

Those puzzles are awesome. Maybe you can figure out how to put some together while you are laying on your left side. I'm no doctor, but try to spend as much time on it as possible. With a little walk in between. :)

  6. You should find a way to get your hands on The Tea Rose and The Winter Rose by Jennifer Donnelly. They are totally trashy funtimes, with JUST enough literary merit and lack of bare-torso'd men on the cover that you don't have to feel too guilty and embarrassed to read them!! PERFECT. :)

  8. I recommend "Everyone Poops" by Taro Gomi. Don't get the audio version though. It's not the same.
